The TRee of knowLEDGE
            OF
GOOD and EVIL

MM T 2547, fol. 000-A5

The Earth’s mould longed for air
The air became water and earth and the earth became air

    I dreamt in the night:
There was a casket on a hill. Inside of it was a corpse. A mother
stood ringing a large bell
The mother sang go now into the land of
crystals. A procession of men and women walked below
repeating [the refrain]: Go now into the land of crystals
The sky opened and became illuminated – A great
kingdom of crystals could be seen reflecting
all the colours of the rainbow through crystals
clear as diamonds large and small. Some formed
castles    others trees

MM T 2547, fol. 000-A7

tHE aIR preyed upon THE EARTH
THE EARTH PERSPIRED SLIME THAT BECAME
HUMAN BEINGS FAUNA AND FLORA
WATER TURNED INTO STEAM AND BeCAME CLOUDS
THE CLOUDS CAME DOWN AS RAIN
HUMANS AND CREATURES And treeS ARE
FLAMES THAT RISE UP FROM THE EARTH

MM T 2547, fol. 1r

MM T 2547, fol. 004-A9

    IT WAS DARK AND MURKY
GOING DOWN THE STAIRS tHe bOY WHO
HELD HER HAND COULD
NOT GET TO THE BOTTOM FAST ENOUGH

WHY DO You WALK SO SLOW-
LY? HE AsKED

    ShE PAUSED AT EVERY
STEP AND DREW HER BREATH
oUTSIDE THE ENTRANCE THE DAYLiGHT
BLINDED HIM

    ShE WORE A FADED VIOLET-
HUED HAT  …  LONG RIBBONS FLUT-
TERED WITH EACH WAFT OF WIND

    THE AIR WAS SO sTRANGE-
LY SuLTRY WITH COLD DRAFTS
OF AIR

    THE GRaSS SPRUNG UP BETWEEN
THE COBBLESTONES – LiGHT GREEN GRaSS
IT WAS SPRING

MM T 2547, fol. 004-A11

    THE EArTH spewed FLAMES

MM T 2547, fol. 004-A13

THE EARTH spewed FlaMES towards THE ENDS of the uniVERSE
THE FLAMES WiTHERED TO ASHES AGAIN
THE EYES I SAW. BLUE And LUSTROUS
DARK WITH GLOwING SPARKLES
QuestioniNG
SeeKIng
yearning
compulsively
they
Reached out to the periphery
LIFted from the earth – human children
Only to fall back
to blend their ashes with mother earth

WHy? TO WHAT AVAIL?
COMPULSIVELY OF NECESSITY THEY ROSE and FELL
SPARKS and GLIMMERS IN  …  THE DARK OF NIGHT
GOD IS IN ALL THINGS US
ALL THINGS ARE IN US (God)
BROTHERS IN THE MiGHTY GAME OF LIFE!
THE GAME IS COMPULSIVE, DARING AND PERFORMED
ONLY TO bE COMPULSIVE AND DARING AND TO DIE ONCE mORE

MM T 2547, fol. 004-A14

    THE EARTH spewed flames towards
the ends of the universe – The Flames
withered to ashes again –

The eyes I saw [were] blue and lustrous, dark
with glowing sparkles – questioning,
seeking, yearning compulsively they
reached out to the periphery – lifted from
the earth – human children – only
to fall back again – to blend their ashes
with mother earth –

Why? – to what avail? compulsively
of necessity they rose and fell
sparks and glimmers in the night
sparks from the dark earth!

God is in all things all things are in us –
– Brothers in the mighty game of life –
– The Game is over compulsive, daring and performed
– only to be compulsive and live and die once more

MM T 2547, fol. 004-A15

MM T 2547, fol. 004-A17

A BIRD OF PREY HAS TAKEN
ABODE INSIDE OF ME. IT HAS SUNK –
ITS CLAWS INTO MY

CARVED A HOLE IN MY BREAST
AND ITS WING-BEATS
HAVE OBSCURED MY
REASON

THE BLOOD COURSED THROUGH HIM. A HELLISH
BReW BReWED FROM THE BLOOD OF PLANTS THE WINE WAS
BLENDED WITH THE FEMALE VAMPiRE’S VENOM – IT WAS A SCORCHING
BReW IN THE MACHINERY OF THE BRaIN

THE BRAIN'S CELL TISSuE eXPANDED, ON THE
BOILED sWOLLeN CELL TISSuE    A DeviLISHLY CONFUSED
SCRIPT WAS WRITTEN AS ON A PHONOGRAPH

THE CELL TISSuE INFLATED LIKE A BALLOON
at BUrSTING POINT – COLLAPSED LIKE A
CRUMPLED LEAF ONLY TO BE BOILED AND EXPANDED
AND TO SCREAM LIKE A CHOIR OF DEVILS – A FUNERAL
pyRE OF THE PLANT’S CORPSES – THE TOBACCO SENT
ITS OVERPOWERING AND NOXIOUS ASHES INTO THE CRANI-
UM’S CORRIDORS AND LAByRINTHS

HE SAW SCORES OF FACES STARING
AT HIM

HE LAY CRUSHED IN THE STREET
HE HELD A BLOOD-RED ARM IN THE AiR

that [is] full of all the earth’s beauty – and grief
Your lips are like two ruby red snakes
and filled with blood like the crimson fruit
– They separate as though in pain

now the chain has been linked which ties generation
