How I began working with murals
and friezes –
In my art I have endeavoured to explain
life to myself and sought to gain clarity about my fate
I have also thought that it might contribute to
others attaining clarity about their fates
– I have always worked best when I have my
pictures nearby –
– I felt the pictures were related to
each other in content –
When I arranged them together they immediately
resonated in a way that they lacked individually – they
somehow could not be exhibited with others –
So I placed them together as friezes –
