Nansen

Literary character presumably based on Edvard Munch himself. Munch took the name from Hermann Colditz’ novel Kjærka; et Atelierinteriør (1888). The name Nansen is also used in the story about Madame Heiberg, where Munch otherwise primarily uses the name Brandt.
