Professor K, Professor Krogh

Most likely identical with Christian Krohg, professor at the newly established National Academy of Fine Arts beginning in 1909. Krohg was not a member of the jury, but in the public debate he was outspoken against both Holger Sinding-Larsen’s Aula architecture and Munch’s drafts for the competition. For a discussion of the competition, the members of the jury and critics of Munch’s contribution, see Gunnar Sørensen’s article in this catalogue.
