(1866–1913)
Norwegian librarian, encyclopaedia editor and writer. Became a member of the bohemian milieu surrounding Hans Jæger in the mid-1880s. Travelled in 1890 to Chicago. Hired as director for Deichmanske public library in Kristiania in 1898.
